French Toast
Start the morning with a hot, warm, fluffy and eggy slice of toast. Perfect when paired with other sweet things 🍓
Serves 2-3
Ingredients:
- 5-6 Slices Bread
- 3 Eggs
- 1 cup/235ml Milk
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinammon Powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- a few blocks of butter
EXTRA
- Maple Syrup/Honey/Fruits to top
Method and Instruction
Preparation
- Beat the eggs in a bowl large enough to accommodate a slice of the bread.
- Add milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and sugar into mixture, mix till thoroughly mixed.
Cooking
- Heat a block of butter in your pan over medium heat.
- Dip a slice of bread in the mixture and let it soak for about 10 seconds on each side, then let the excess drip off.
- Fry in pan till golden brown, approx. 3 mins per side.
- Repeat steps 3-5 with rest of bread.
- Plate and serve with your choices of toppings.
